Give the gift that matters most this holiday season

Life is built on moments — sharing a hug, a laugh, or simply being close. This holiday season, help Glenrose patients return to the moments that matter most.

For Dr. Rob Agostinis, those moments were suddenly taken away when four years ago, a rare and devastating auto-immune illness stole his ability to move, breathe, and speak. Perfectly healthy one day, he awoke the next paralyzed from the jaw down. Rob was diagnosed with anti-neurofascin syndrome, a diagnosis so rare that doctors told him he was only the 17th documented case in the world.

GHF.com Holiday Giving Rob Dec 2025After months in acute care, Rob arrived at the Glenrose determined to reclaim his life. Through intensive rehabilitation, from specialized clinics and advanced technology to aquatic therapy, he slowly rebuilt his strength, his confidence, and his hope.

In February 2022, Rob walked out of the Glenrose using a four-wheel walker. Today, he continues setting new goals and wants others facing complex injuries and illnesses to feel the same possibility he did.

Read Rob’s story here, and help others achieve what matters most to them this holiday season with a year-end gift to the Glenrose Hospital Foundation.

Donations made by December 31 will be eligible for a 2025 charitable tax receipt.
