Hope, Love, and Resilience Expedition
Support Mark Ivancic’s 300 km Journey Across the Rockies
This summer, Mark Ivancic will take on an extraordinary challenge: cycling 300 kilometres through the Canadian Rockies, from Banff to Jasper, Alberta.
His goal? To raise $300,000 — $1,000 for every kilometre ridden — in support of the Glenrose Hospital Foundation and Canadian Mental Health Association. Every donation supports life-changing care, rehabilitation, and hope for those facing their own journeys of recovery.
About Mark
An inspiring educator and musician, Mark Ivancic has touched countless lives. He dedicated his career to empowering his students with a simple belief: anything is possible.
In 2018, everything changed.
After a game of hockey, Mark suffered a severe stroke that left him with partial paralysis. In an instant, he faced unimaginable challenges, relearning how to move and rebuild his life from the ground up.
After five months of intensive physiotherapy at the Glenrose, Mark hiked the Sulphur Skyline — the same trail he once climbed with his students, proving that the belief he instilled in others still held true.
In 2021, Mark invested in a recumbent bike, and the Hope, Love, and Resilience Expedition was born.
