OIL Centre Grand Opening – December 3rd 2012
12/06/2012The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation gave a lead gift of $75,000 to our Foundation. We then also supported the project while the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital and Alberta Health Services provided operational guidance. An ongoing collaboration with NAIT supports technology and program development for the Centre and the overall hospital, including the “Smash Up Derby” game. Dental Clinic Grand Opening – Nov. 22nd 2012
Edmonton seniors, older adults with chronic conditions and individuals with disabilities have a new and expanded home for dental care, thanks to a partnership between the School of Dentistry, Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation (GRHF) and Alberta Health Services.

The Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation Research Grant program was founded in 2006 and within five short years has contributed significantly to the advancement of research activities
CAREN - Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment
Western Canada's first Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment (CAREN) virtual reality medical treatment system designated for patient use was unveiled. The Courage in Motion (CIM) Centre, which houses the simulator, is officially opened at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, thanks to a partnership between the Canadian Forces (CF), the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation, the Government of Alberta and Alberta Health Services.
